About

Kineks Text is a neo-grotesque text typeface designed for readability, extended reading, editorial typography, and digital publications. It is the text companion to Kineks Display, bringing the distinctive Kineks Typeface into a more restrained and reading-focused design.

Designed for books, magazines, articles, reports, websites, blogs, and other long-form content, Kineks Text features a generous x-height, open apertures, clear letterforms, balanced proportions, and carefully tuned spacing for a smooth and consistent reading rhythm.

The design is optimized to remain comfortable at small text sizes while retaining the character of the wider Kineks family. Kineks Text includes 10 styles from Light to Bold, with Upright and Oblique styles. Standard ligatures and stylistic alternates provide subtle typographic variation without disrupting the reading texture.

As part of the evolving Kineks type system, Kineks Text is designed to work alongside Kineks Display and future Kineks families, allowing different typefaces within the system to serve different typographic roles while maintaining a shared visual DNA.
