Bia
A transitional type system exploring the balance between classical form, contemporary proportions, and expressive typographic contrast.
About
Bia is a transitional type system built for expressive and functional typography across editorial, branding, packaging, identity, and display applications. Its four contrasting classifications—Serif Low, Serif High, Sans Low, and Sans High—are unified by a shared typographic structure, allowing different visual voices to work naturally within the same family.
With five weights and five widths, Bia moves from compact, restrained compositions to expansive and expressive display settings, making it suitable for headlines, logotypes, editorial layouts, brand identities, packaging, and digital experiences.
